zxr400 L4 models

A spin off from a previous post by RobB, I have created a forum so we can identify which model ZXR400 you have and to show different variations of colour schemes. Please feel free to post pictures to help others identify their ZXR400's but please keep them to factory std releases.

all information in this thread is specific to L4 models.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

Bit of a 7 year gap in these posts but I have a question for the boffins :smt002 My L4 is was registered in 95 and has from what I have read, a 94 colour scheme being white, green & blue. It does however have the 95 grab handle from what I understand (which aint much :smt004 )
The wheels however are white and do not look like they have ever been repainted. Looking a tinternet photo's, I cannot see another bike with factory white wheels but I don't want to paint them green if it did indeed have white wheels!
Anyone have an opinion?

Now don't quote me on this but the only Zxr I've seen with white wheels as stock are the itoham models. But those bikes seem quite rare

The only other colours I've seen that I know come from stock are black, ebony or green.
Red might be standard as well but not sure

This applies to the L model now

It's certainly not an Itoham Miles so I reckon they need repainting in green then :smt003

For some reason though I think white might be stock. Either that or everyone likes to spray them white.

Thinking about it this morning I have seen a few bikes with white, blue & green colours with white wheels.

So don't rush into the repaint, hopefully one of the forum 'elders' will throw in on this.
