The wee 400

Post by zxrob »

Well, I've always been a kwak man and always fancied a 400 for a blast on the smaller circuits.

Decided to buy one as a bit of a project and boy its been that, anyway, apart from painting it up when I get my compressor working its finished for now

zxr40OL1
Standars engine
Standard carbs and needles with 102 dynojet main jets
K and N filter
4 pot gsxr calipers with sbs pads
zxr750 master cylinder
Upgraded springs with 7.5 wt oil
H model rear shock with maxton re-valve and spring
New renthal soft cmpound grips (for that extra second a lap :smt003 )
Some sticky rubber

Its ready for its first outing at anglesey

First dyno run, whooooops, just a bit rich Image
Dumped the dynojet needles, not brill but way betterImage

I,m hoping for a bit of fun on the little thing, lets see if it can carry my 13.5 stone around :excited
