Where to start.... Pretty new into motorbikes apart from having an rs125 when I was younger. And my dad having a zx9r that used to be awesome!
Anyways Thought it was the right time to get my bike test done so I'm waiting for the funds to allow for my DAS passed my theory test last week!!

Ended up getting a problematic N reg zxr which arrived today for the whole sum of £350... Win!
It's got datatag, datatool and some alarm fitted by Carol Nash 23k on the clock.

The headgasket has gone on the bike so in the next couple of weeks it will be getting stripped and rebuilt.

Plans for the bike are to strip all the frame subframe, wheels rearsets and all other metal parts and send them to the powdercoaters for the "new" chrome powdercoat that's available depending on what samples they show me!

These are long term plans btw so don't be expecting a rapid build lol I'm unsure what to do paintwork wise..... It's either going to be sprayed yellow with black decals or be left as is to retain value if I decide to sell at some point!

This is the only pic I have of the bike just now Image

Where could I get the original graphics re-done if I decide to keep the original colours? Do they sell kits off the shelf?

Thanks for looking il post some more pics when I start work on the bike!

Dan

Iv never worked with bikes before so I'm learning everything as I go! This weekend I should hopefully have the engine out and a pile of parts ready to the powdercoaters! :)
