Ok After almost two years i've nearly got it on the road. There are a few problems that need sorting mainly electrics but nothing is ever simple.
It has a 'M' stamped on the cylinder head. i'm guessing that it means it's been modified in some way. please feel free to enlighten me.

Got a stack of Road & Race CDI's - have a patch lead for my H so can confirm they are working.

Never noticed an "M" on any of the SP engines I have or stripped down but then haven't been looking that closely.

BTW, can't get an overhaul kit for your shock but can get it overhauled New shock still available at 70,500 Yen So your better off getting an Ohlins for that sort of dosh !!
