Just out of interest!

Did you use rattle spray cans to paint all the brackets and frame?

Cheers!

Yes Hammerite Silver on the Frame, which is a near perfect match for the original paint colour satin black for the brackets and Plasti-kote silver on the Radiator and oil cooler. I got the Kawasaki Green of e-bay which is spot on.

Very nice!

I've just bought a tatty L3 and am planning a full rebuild and paintjob. If you don't mind, I have a few questions.

1) Where did you have it painted?
2) Are the graphics stickers or are they painted?
3) If they're stickers, where did you get them?
4) And finally, if you don't mind me asking, how much was the paintjob?

Thanks

Nick

I painted all the brackets, frame etc, I got the fairings painted at local garage near where I live in Deeping St James, the chap is a friend of a friend

I managed to keep the graphics as they are over £300 from Kawasaki and the painter made a really good job of masking them off and respraying the green colour, then clear coating it all.

The paint job cost over £250 just for the fairings and mudgaurd, I did all the rubbing down, filling and prep work for the painter though.

Glad you like it.

Think your air ticket over here will be cheaper - you will go home with a cracking tan :smt005

Should be starting build two next month some time , the parts are a gathering :smt003

What next on your list ?
