shocking

Both chain & condition of outer engine :smt005

The gen cover has been welded up most likely after a fall - making it extra thick is a race trick (almost like a slider) so engine may have been abused hard, would explain the chain snapping.

Replace all components of the camchain assembly , I would strip it down to the crankcases and measure the bores & piston rings and just to confirm their general condition. Also go through all the valves and make sure none are bent.

Your winter has just been booked :smt002

Since iv had a week of over christmas iv bin able to get a little more done.
- New grips (so no more blue tape)
- New bar end mirrors
- New starter relay, after mine died
- New left hand rearset (after some prik went into the side of me the other day and riped it off, then drove off)

Still got a new exhaust, radiator and hoses to go on next week. But realy need to get some new plugs and give the battery a good charge as its a nightmare to start in the cold naw.
