ZXR400 - Sid

Finally got a pic of my 400. I had it out for a run on Saturday and was loving it but coming from racing a SV I was really missing the low down grunt out of the corners. The 400 is a real pleasure to ride but it will take a bit of getting used to after riding a Vtwin.

What gearing do you 400 guys use for Cookstown?

The characteristics are completely diff from the twin.

OH it's a different beast alright.....................jumping off a twin the 400 will feel like a two stroke.................all revs and gear changes.

you really do need to try and keep the revs up.

I'll look up the gearing for Cookstown and get it to you been a while since I've done Cookstown.

57 is a great number for a ZXR plenty of varieties..........

Cheers Cargo - I started riding and racing on a twin and then the 600 cam along so I've not had any experience on any other type of bike.

Looking forward to the season tho - it will be interesting I should think.
