????? Do you mean where it is mounted?

Going to have a small computer fan on top, that way no problem with cooling.

Good response.

But think of the extra weight with all that free cold fresh air rushing past.

Hi guys, it’s been along time !!!!

6 years, 2 moves and 2 kids later I finally getting round to do some work on my project.

Sorry it’s been so long I’ve had a lot on!

Today I stripped the front end down as the forks had pitted and were leaking.
I will be sending them off for new stanchions fitting.

In case it is worth consideration, A M Philpot (hard chrome ltd) will grind out the defects, hard chrome oversize, and then grind back to size. I have used them several times and the service and quality are good. If you strip out the forks to just the stanchion and the lower leg, they will organise collection, repair and delivery for £270. That is helpful because they will separate the stanchion from the lower leg, and refit it with loctite 363, which will hold the two parts together securely and prevent oil leaks. Does anyone know what happened with this build? Did he manage to finish it?
