Bought this L3 about 2 months ago for £300. My in tensions are to make it into a track bike but also put a day time mot on it.
Here is a pic of when I bought it (looks way better than it actually is)


So far I have stripped it down a bit painted the frame and swing arm, I had a spare so painted that one.





Then fitted the painted swing arm, put the tank & carbs back on so I could start it up as it has a blowing exhaust which I've got to fix.


I'm going to use the original nose cone and side fairings as I'm trying to do it on a budget, I'm going to fill the headlight hole on the nose cone.

I've also bought some rear sets,new cam chain and a few other little bits.

Very cool, will keep an eye on this. Are you planning to race it this year?

Thanks! No not planning on racing just going to do a few track days. Would love to race but wouldn't have a clue how to get into it really.

Think the water pump is broken so will have to replace that now.

As I'm doing it on a budget I've filled over the headlight hole and indicator holes on the nose cone. Here is some pics of it in primer.

Painted the calipers.

Got some more done tonight.
