sounds good to me, depends on when you want them for?

ive wanted to go to bletchley park, the code breaking/computer place, thats only round the corner from where you are. so i would probably get the carbs and tyres from you, sort out a small amount of cash, go to bletchley, drive home, do your carbs, then post them back to you...hmm ill have to see how my schedule is after this conference im talking at.

ill be in touch :D

ive managed to "fix" mine for the time being, im guessing maybe a fiver/tenner to get a bit of drilled aly attached? then you need one of them clips that has a nut as part of it (like how the side fairings attach to the front fairing) <-dont know what the connector is called...get that and you will be good to go!

local ones to me are silverstone, donny and rockingham, 14/42 gives the same rpm per gear as 15/45, as im not doing any tuning to the engine i doubt i will need any more top speed so 14/42 will be fine, i should be able to go to 14/46 just about with my 108 link chain.

been busy working on getting the fzr1000 sorted for its MOT (passed and now taxed :D)

ive swaped my front with one ross46 got as he needed the light cut-out, and i didnt, been sanding and filling in little bits of damage, will be ready for final sanding and painting soon.
one of my forks was quite scratched on the chrome, so ive replaced that and given it fresh oil (5W).
replaced the fork oil seal and both nylon/copper fork bushes on the other, along with new oil (5W), tested both forks with a large mass (me) to make sure that they react the same - they do, so thats good.
ive started to sand down the god-awful paintjob that the panels came with...these will be ready soon.
sorted the carbs for the time being to work with the open, no-air filter airbox, carbs are running 105 mains, 4 shims on the stock needles, air screws set to 1.75 turns out, slides drilled to 3mm...revs a lot better now, still needs the midrange richening, but ive got a dynojet kit on the way, so that should help...and the bike needs to be got on track and tested there really.

im currently trying to repair the damaged rear panels and convert them into a single seat set of plastics...ive got a trackday booked for 7th of december to get a better assessment of the carbs, and maybe get the suspension set-up slightly better for me.

ive got these rear brake disks being manufactured to go on, and im gonna work out how best to mount a scooter caliper over the winter.

aye, it should really help to fuel the bike in the mid-range better...carbs seem to be currently ok as they are, but it is definitely lean still in the middle.

ill get it running ok and they get it finalised on a dyno once the dynojet kit gets here.

Well I'll send it to you next week as I won't get it till then as I have no funds as its all been taken up for MOT, I need a new set of brake pads and pins as I have 3 EBC HH pads at 2.5-3mm and 1 worn down to 0.2-1mm at an angle, believe its because the caliper pin was worn with grooves so the pad was getting stuck, bit pissed off that I now have to spend £40 on new pads just for 1 pad when I have little money, right, rant over, just get it to pass now... OH and £10 worth of fuel contaminated with water as I had to blockthe drain tube so if the water sits on the top it can leak through

Looks good, amazed how much weight you've shaved off. Have you locwired the sump plug? Scrutineers will not let you play unless you do that!

There was an article in "fast bikes" about how to get your bike ready for doing their no budget cup, think that was it, anyway. It had about all the bits you had to lockwire etc, the weird regulations, and it was a zx7r! Maybe I should scan it in for people new to racing or trackdays
