Hey there!
I'd like to show you guys my progress (I hope there will be any )of the build. Since I am a bit lazy and a bit Austrian please forgive me my occasional problems with the English language. I am posting most of the steps as detailed as I can but I'm pretty sure some things will be written in more detail in the German forum.
To-do list:
-R1 swingarm
-Under seat exhaust
-remove rectifier, starter, flywheel...
-rear sets
-race fairing(CBR1000RR 2009Bj.)
-ECU underneath tank cover and minimalist subframe and seat
-glass fibre tank with 6 liters vol.
Engine performance is no priority. I will make some adjustments and do some mods while I'm the area but the focus is to build a fun toy for trackdays. I do want to get the weight down a fair bit but on some bits I just want to build them because I want to build them and maybe learn a thing or two.. .

yeah,it feels like a can of worms right now. But I learn a lot.
-I bought a 1199 Panigale shock that needed a rebuild. (312 +4/-8)
- Current plan for the bike geometry will be roughly (wheelbase 1450mm/rake 23,5°/trail about 82 ) with a 30mm raised seathight.
Next task will be, to make up my mind if I get somebody to modify the frame or biuld Adapters for the 23mm displacement of the rear shock to the side.

Looking at the availability and cost of OEM Kawasaki O-rings I decided to try to use standard size Viton O-rings wherever possible. I have gone through the microfiche I have available and tried to find standard O-rind sizes for Kawasaki Part numbers. I measured the sealing surfaces and estimated the thickness of the O-ring thickness.
A set of (Viton/FKM) O-rings for an engine rebuild would cost about 12 Euro.
