Hiya, the only engines ive have heard that fit are a blade engine

http://www.zxrworld.co.uk/zxr400/eds.html

recently a ZX6R motor

http://www.pbmagforum.com/forum3/406.html

and a few people i have seen fit a ZZR600 engine. Theres an owner on here actually.

Doubt you will get away without any modification as no engine is going to go straight in. Chances are you will either have to have some brackets made up and take something out of the frame to get the another engine to fit.

I was just thinking, I wonder if you could get a vfr750 or 800 motor in. they must be pretty narrow being a v4. might have issues with the rear cylinders encountering the tank, and also with exhaust routing, but no engine transplant is ever going to be easy now is it?
In the garage:

Suzuki DR800 - bouncy
1978 Suzuki GS400 - PROJECT RETRO RACER!
