my bargain

I know i have too many projects, but this was a bargain! Its a 1995 Kawasaki ZXR400, it has been sat outside for a few months in a stripped down state, with the carbs just resting on it. it has all the road gear with it and everything needed to put it back on the road, but this is going to be my track bike so most of thet lot will be on ebay soon. Plans for now are to get it running and then strip the motor down to see what it has (its apparently got tuned cams etc) and to check the state of the bores etc. then build it up with new race bodywork, rearsets, steering damper, exhaust and some nice sticky rubber.

Sorry about the pics, will get some good ones at some point! And yes, its bright yellow!

ok, today i finally got out to take a look at it, and try to turn it over, Due to it being sat outside with the previous owner with no carbs etc, the thing is siezed solid! Looks likea new motor will be needed!

I got it from a guy at work who had it off a bird he knows, although the last registered owner was Carl Murdoch in Leighton Buzzard

Wernt that SimonH bike? He binned it at a track day (used to be burgundy) and replaced it with yellow bodywork.

Ok, finally some better pics of it. you can now see the extent of the corrosion on the thing, like down the inlet tracts and in the tank filler neck!
