Re: other race fairings for the zxr400l
that does look really nice ..
doesnt seem to have required much grinding/cutting/faffing to make the back-end fit . or has it just been well enough finished that i cant tell ?
how-to's etc would be ace mate ..
what has been done re brackets ?

im very envious of the attention to detail that's obviously gone into that
and will be endeavouring to copy as many bits as possible.

looks superb
I take it you've had to modify the rad? so as not to have to hack bits out of the fairing to fit around it!chris bb wrote: just waiting on a rad and clitch to come now and then she's a race bike

yep i was gutted to not have it pop straight in, iv mearsured up and im having rads made. the oil cooler had to go i am looking to locate a 636b1h rad to try thinking it might go straight in, the only thing that stops the original rad fittng is the exhaust pipes

Feck, how much was that ?chris bb wrote:yep i was gutted to not have it pop straight in, iv mearsured up and im having rads made. the oil cooler had to go i am looking to locate a 636b1h rad to try thinking it might go straight in, the only thing that stops the original rad fittng is the exhaust pipes
I had my oil cooler almost rubbing on the exhaust and just about got it inside the fairing, however, the rad pissed me off too much so I gave up, having to cut the fairing down too much, started looking a bit nasty, it was my race bike so wasn't too concernaed to start with, but gave up as I just couldn't get it looking as I wanted, a bit fussy me Looks like you've got it sorted though
Keep us informed about the oil cooler and rad, I may still go that route when time/money permits
