a bit late in the day

Post by Gemini »

basically i started tackling a few niggling problems on my bike and finished off part stripping the bike down

removed forks and sprayed fork leg bottoms black as original silver started to look tired, then decided to paint calipers so the two blacks didnt clash

then pulled of fairings and had wheels powdercoated.

also got some new discs

just a few more jobs to go, should be done by next wkend,

just thought id add a couple of pics

Are they the Stealth Razor disks??

A mate of mine had them on his ZX6R and they were terrible in the rain.

HELP PLEASE

replacing indicators on my 7r, got some indi spacers just need to know how they fit???

and what i mean is at the front where the original indicators were now there is a gaping hole, so i figure the indi spacer fills that hole - got that figured

then i guess the indicator stalk thread goes thru the hole in them - got that figured

but how do i get the two to hold secure to the fairing?

do i need to put something behind the fairing and bolt indicator to that?

If its anythng like the zxr. You should have these little spacer type things that are an absolute fucking nightmare to refit. Your inides are the same as mine if I remember, so they've got the thread coming out of the stalk. Just fit the spacer, washer, watever youve got on the inside of your fairing then get a nut and slide the wires through first, then tighten it onto the thread.

if i was you mate i'd cut some bits of plastic to go behind the fairing and bolt the new indicator through both with the fairing between them.

I thought with the spacers you get 2 for each side , 1 goes on the inside 1 goes on the outside.
Thats how it is on my wifes ZXR
