hello! i write from Italy! i have a zxr400 1991 with a complete Micron race system exhaust, a k&n air filter and a dynojet kit stage 1. can you tell me the best settings for the dynojet kit? thank you very much!

depends on the individual bike ..

get it on a dyno.

Hi,

I had a Dyno stage 1 on my old engine, I went by the intructions but the bike was running way way way too rich in the mid range. When I got mine set up perfect it was: 3 turns on the mixture screws, top notch on the needles with the 2 washers on the top and 92 main jets. That was with stainless headers, aftermarket can and K&N,

Fitted Dyno-jet kit stg1 to L5 model (standard air filter, Art Race end-can, new spark plugs) as per instructions; ie DJ96 main jets, E-clip on 2nd groove down from top, 2 washers placed on top & enlarged slide lift hole with supplied drill. Set mixture screws 2 turns out from fully in.
Bike starts great from cold or hot, runs sweet through all gears at all revs - really pleased!!
Will get carbs tuned & balanced in spring 2009.
