spark plug removal

hi there .i have a zxr 400 and want to change the spark plugs as they havent been done in about 10 years but i cant find where they can someone please help ??

Whip the tank and air box off and voila! All the access you need. Check the manual if your still stuck :smt002

thanks mate ive found them took them out and notice 2 of my ht leads have fallen apart .im sure u can recap them but not sure how to do this

buy 1-2m of 7mm HT lead.

pull the HT lead off the coil, and 'unscrew' it from the cap.

repeat in reverse.

they have fallen out of the end where u push on to the spark plug .i can see a little cork screw fing inside but cant get the wire back around it confuddled

All you need to do is screw the ht lead onto the thread.

if you are re-using the old HT lead, you will need to trim ~5mm of the old lead off in order to give you a "fresh" bit of lead to use to screw into the spark plug cap.
