Which would you choose?
L9 1999 with 13100 miles vs L9 2002 with 18500 miles, otherwise identical, which one would be worth more to you?

Re: Which would you choose?
the newer one has almost 50% more mileage, so its done a lot more miles per year on average than the slightly older one...i would say the older one is the more valuable, but only slightly, maybe £300-500 more.

Re: Which would you choose?
Sorry to resurrect this old chestnut, but im trying to gauge a fair price for a mate who also wants a zxr400 (ive already got mine) on the 1999 with 13,100 miles under its belt.
He's seems to have agreed a price somewhere around £1500. Is this a 'fair' deal?
Cosmetically it seems fine aside from a scratch here and there, is completely standard (down to the exhaust), with moderate service history, and the tyres seem to have a fairly decent amount of life left in them.
Two owners, both women.
Ive had a look on ebay but there seems to be too much fluctuation in prices.
Thoughts?

Re: Which would you choose?
buy it, if its in good condition and needs nothing major doing, thats a good price.
this bike has ridden out its depreciation curve now, so they wont be getting any cheaper. keep it as stock as possible and it will keep its price.
