Basically searching on the web and I found the zxr250 has a 20k redline, looked up the wiring diagram and I could wire the 250 cdi in, so what do people think would happen? Engine rip itself to shreds?

I reckon you're taking too much out of your special cupboard . You must have some empty roads near you, I struggle to get to 14.500, 10,000 usually brings the traffic into sharp focus rather speedily.
