Fuel Reserve switch?

Post by carl9780 »

hi all,

Just joined up so ill introduce myself later with some pics in the new section later today (currently at work), just wanted to ask a quick question in regards to the location of the fuel reserve switch as i cant seem to find it, my ZXR was chugging a bit as i pulled up outside work so i can only guess its very low on fuel....hoping someone can help me get back home tonight! :smt010

Thanks

Carl

Its not a switch its a tap

Left hand side as you sit on the bike there's a hole in the side panel just below the seat

................small black plastic handle is in that hole turn it fully clockwise and your bike on reserve.

If the plastic handle bit of the tap is missing then a screw of the correct size can be fitted and used along with a screwdriver or allen key to turn the tap

Ask me very nicely and I'll sell you the plastic bit.
