Chrome or polish Yokes

Post by Miles »

Hello folks,

Yokes are looking well past their prime and since Ive restored the rest of the bike I'll have to do the yokes as well.

The question is do I have them chromed or a high polish? Anyone think of a for or against chroming?

Thanks
Tricky

If they get chromed you need to re-hone the inner clamps as they are chromed-> thicker either. I'd rather polish them...

polishing is good but keeping them polished is a pain when you cant access them properly.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.
