The outstanding seals and bearings for the rear end are here now, ive still to source a rear shock so when that is done the rear end will be fully complete :D

I can now hopefully fit most of the existing bits back onto the bike, was waiting on this rear shock before I put back on the tail plastics, side fairings, downpipes, radiator etc...I'll be able to take it off the stands and it will be rolling on its own 2 wheels for the first time in almost 2 years...

Looks great, I'm glad someone else does the "turn the garage lights off" test. 👍

bike fired up with no issues! :excited

got to put back on the rear seat, both side panels, and the 2 radiator cover plates and its rebuilt!

pics in the morning when its complete, if its not raining i might take it outside for better shots

does still need some bits changing (some have minor damage such as wingmirrors, front indicators), it will need the fork lowers painting at some point along with the wheels and bodywork (to get it all exactly the same and 100% lined up etc., also needs some worn but undagamed bits replacing (i.e. the chain adjuster bolts, axle castle nut etc.)

...am a happy banner :D

i can now start on making the original engine into a 444cc/adjustable cam/custom CDi/blueprinted+balanced+gasflowwed/FCR fire breathing monster :D

would be looking for a useable 72-75bhp (or more) rear wheel with the gas flowing designed for a bit more midrange over the standard power curve :D

Bike looks fantastic and that's a very tasty rear shock. Congrats, you must be chuffed.

Bike passed its MOT, exhaust is "excessively noisy" even with the baffle...but I think it's fine...it's now taxed and still has insurance.

Am going to take off the fairings and give everything a good going over just to make sure that everything is still in place, torqued up etc...just to be on the safe side
