firing on 3 cylinders

Hello to you all.
right where to start. About two weeks ago my bike started to bog down when you open the throttle quickly.
I put some redX in the tank. Then my battery strated playing up so i got a new one this weekend fitted it tried to start the bike and after about 2 mins it started up but is only running on 3 cylinders and it sounds like a subaru

So off comes the tank/air box played about with the leads and coils still the same so i take them all off again.
I try to take the plugs out to only find that my 21mm long plug socket will not fit in the head so i'm stuck there really.
My Q is what size plug socket do i need.
any advice is very welcome

sorry cant help you with the size but your on the right track! wip the plug out and check your getting a spark!

I believe its a 12mm plug, but kawasaki the buggers liek to make the hole taper as you go down If you have the standard tool kit the socket will fit, otherwise a standard socket piece isnt gong to fit, you need a thin walled socket. Personally i would go and buy one, if you use it once your bound to use it again.

not really their choice.

I've never actually looked at my plugs, but I imagine the recess for them is cast into the head. They have to be tapered so you can separate the head casting from the mould.

They could machine it out afterwards so the recess didn't taper, but then your bike would be more expensive. simple.

I lost a cylinder last night, pinned it down to number 3, blew the carb out with some injector spray, and swapped the plug (no sign of oil though - must have just been braking down) all good now.

fixed the bike. still not taken the plugs out i got the wrong socket so i took the carbs off and gave them a good clean.
Number 4 was full of sh*t . I also cleaned out the tank/fuel pump and filter. I was pi**ed right off there was 5 litter's of fuel in the tank. But on the up side it is now fixed.
