there was one of them on ebay not so long ago. Looking at the specs again it says that it is for Keihin CVK-D32 carbs and thats the same carbs as the zxr400
her is a Q for you would a set of zzr400 downpipes fit the zxr400. I think that would look nice a zxr400 with twin carbon cans

thats actually a ZX-4, which is essentially a ZXR400-H1 with different clothes on..

it was the first bike to have the engine that found its way into the ZXR400, but with lumpier cams, bigger airbox, and 1mm smaller carbs.. they were only made for about 9 months in 1988, and then kawasaki realised no-one would buy something that looked like a mini-tourer when nc24's/nc23's/gixxers looked so much more sporty, so they dumped it and brought out the ZXR400-H1.

just to be dead pedantic, its a ZX400-G, which was followed by the ZX400-H1, the ZX400-H2, then the ZX400-L1-9 series.. the latter bikes being marketed as ZXR's whilst the first one was known as a ZX-4.

ZX-4's are bloody good bikes, ive had two and despatched on the first one for years, the one we have now has ZXR400-H Forks/wheels/swingarm/brakes and ZXR400-L carbs/exhaust fitted and is essentially everybit as quick/stable/nimble as my L, but its comfortable, understated and the screen actually deflects the windblast ! im gonna bigbore it eventually as Emma uses it everyday and wouldnt ever consider selling it.
