Sorry if this topic has already been posted but I couldn't find anything.
Q> Can I fit flush type indicators to the front of the bike/ Something like those oval ones on a Vx Vectra/Astra.
I know I'll have to fill the holes etc, but didn't want to go through the hassle, just to fail my MOT.
thanks

Re: Indicators
robB's fitted ZX10R style flush mounted ones to his. I expect he'll be along in a bit to picture whore the thread and explain how he did it.
I don't think you'd be able to legally fit side repeaters from a car if that's what you were getting at. They wouldn't actually show much light to the front of the bike. But there's plenty of flush mount ones for bikes around the aftermarket parts catalogues.

Re: Indicators
Of all the things on my bike i havent got a decent picture of the indicators!
Its tricky to do this, i had the luxury of the old panels to butcher and if i got it wrong it didnt matter! Even 2nd time round on the proper panels i didnt get it right on the ones you see there, which resulted on them not being level on each side. So what i did was use the offcuts to get it right and glued them back in place, filed with bodyfiller and filed over till smooth. Also need to drill a hole through the side panel to fix indicators properly with a tidy nut nut n bolt.

Re: Indicators
Thanks guys,
I was planing on putting some on from a car, but moving them forward so that you can see more of them. See attached photoshopped example.
By the way Rob, where can I get the carbon engine covers like yours? I've just got a carbon end can and was looking for some extra carbon bits.
thanks again

Re: Indicators
not got a pick.
when you take the standard flashers off (unbolting a 10mm bolt on each) the black rubber bases that lock into the fairings are left the standard hole thats left is just the right size so i used them.. they look pretty alright and i fitted them at work during work time so it was all good
