first time out on track. novices at anglesey with no limits. arranged through the performance bikes mag forum - we basically took over the novice group.

and did I enjoy it? hell yeah!

nah, that photo flatters me - there's a lot of long corners at anglesey that give you loads of chance to wind it up and lean it right over. I was probably somewhere in the middle of the group speed wise, although I got faster all day. I'm rubbish at picking braking points - always way too early - and going from braking to tipping it in.

Still it's a good excuse to do some more trackdays to practice eh?

CBR6RR, I think 04-05.

It's an ok-ish fit, and cheaper than a ZXR one. I have plans for it though.

nice pix, looks like the banked hairpin?
I find it quite hard there with breaking points, there isint many things on the side of the track you can use as markers there yet, hopefully they will put some stuff in as they progress with the track.

that banked hairpin, i always find i break to much, then put it on its side to find out that i could be going 30mph faster! its a fast corner of a great track.

havent been there this year, but racing there on the b/holiday monday in 2 weeks, lookin forward to it.

I'm fairly sure that pic was taken at Peel at the top of the hill.

Absolutely agree about the complete lack of braking markers and about tipping into the hairpin waaay to slow.
