hiya!

Post by andyvanderpandy »

hello there! i guess the time has come for me to introduce myself, and my beautiful bike too.

so important things first, i have a zxr400L3 and its ace, as you all know.
its my first bike since i was 11! and i got it nearly a year ago, when i also passed my bike test.
most the time im a bit nooby on it and ride like a small girl, so if your in the nottinghamshire/s.yorks area and you see me, gimme a break please! but not to worry though, im 24, so i got time to perfect the art of not holding up traffic on the round-a-bouts.

this place has been really helpful as i begin to tinker with my bike, and hopefully i may be of use to some of you someday!

thank you kindly, andrew.

if your nice i may even post a pic... of the bike... :smt016

and if youre all good ill show you what the current look is! i gave it a service when i first got it, not because it was rough, but just because i was keen to learn stuff, nothin major has been required yet, the most taxing job being rebuilding the front calipers. the rest has been cosmetic, and ive done a bit of spraying too!

ha ha! yes, i think you and the good people suggesting zxrs in that thread have a lot to answer for... all good of course. i spend 900 on ebay on mine and so far so good, but with hindisght id say ebay is shite for buying something like that (or anything costing more than a tenner!) i picked it up from devon (im in nottingham), but it was all worth it!
