SHARP Helmet Test

Post by rene »

Tells you how good you helmet REALLY is without all the bullshit that other poeple tell you. I'm glad to see that Arai finaly got a ratting that isnt full of crap that others speak about them.

My AGV Ti-Tech got 4 stars that im quite happy with. A lot of the no name stuff has done very well what was quite a shock

They've only just started doing the tests so not every make/model is going to be on there.

And of course if its old and not made anymore it will never be on there

Its run by the goverment so id expect it to be pritty good. Read here to see how they test them:

Baz like i said its only just started so dont expect all the brands to be on there already

hmm im not convinced yet. time will tell. althoe it sounds like a good idea, they must have the helmet companys backing on this cos can you imagine how much this would cost us taxpayers otherwise. most of them helmets would be £400 a pop an you would need a shiney new one for each test so it could be costly.

The gov tests all new helmets that come onto the market already (yellow sticker on the back of your lid to say its road legal) its now that they have updated the test (about bloody time to) and now displaying the results.
