Re: HEL or Goodridge???
yeah they do look good (some times tacky but deepends on the bike). I had red banjo bolts and blue ends on the lines on the CRM and they looked awsome.
Im not into shinny bits on bikes tho tbh i like everything stealthy

Re: HEL or Goodridge???
I had braided hoses on my old RS. They were mint, want to get some for the ZXR as the brakes on it are quite the opposite.

Re: HEL or Goodridge???
it will only improve the feel on the leaver, im replacing my lines because i've tried everything else and nout got the brakes working right.Scott221 wrote:I had braided hoses on my old RS. They were mint, want to get some for the ZXR as the brakes on it are quite the opposite.
So far i've had all 12 pistions out (boring as job!), change pads and bleed them 3 times. The only thing thats possibly making them spongy and w**k at the moment is the standard rubber lines. I'd check the condition of the pistions before just getting new lines, after all zxr's are known for how easy the pistions clog up.

Re: HEL or Goodridge???
rene braided lines wont change em mate ask Gem, we've polished his pistons, and rebuilt the calipers twice now, changed the piston/seals in the master cylinder and still spongy.

Re: HEL or Goodridge???
the standard lines are shot, well past there best. New lines should sort it out hoppfully. I've been told before though that the calipers that both me and gem have got will never give back a nice feel but im currently pulling the leaver to the bar on hard stops so need to try somthing!
