hi guys.
have had the carbs off and completely drained/cleaned etcetc. have refitted today with new fuel filter (bigger than oe one...is that a problem?)
i dont seem to be getting much fuel into the filter, when cranking i get the odd burst and the filter fills some of the way then dissappears. i guess this means the carb bowls are filling slowly?? how long/how much cranking is required to get th system full/ primed???
any tips appreciated.

Re: HELP please!! carb/fuel issue
quite a while, you gotta fill four float bowls remember and the pipe work from the pump up to the carbs
These things are sent to try us!!

Re: HELP please!! carb/fuel issue
it always takes ages to start from dry i always start it with the air box off (and the tank turned round and bolted to the rear frame) then squirt a bit of easy start in each carb and it fires up instantly saves the battery from draining
