Re: why Supermoto's are better
Rather unfair how someone doing a perfectly safe 140mph+ on a sportsbike will see time in jail for a video like that, whilst people doing this kind of stuff get away with it.

-Ing cool vid, though!

Yes you can say that, except you cant say the C word, but somehow you managed not to get it filtered
I do like videos like this, i find them very entertaining, i like ghostrider lots, but there is always that thought in my head that they are just giving bikers a bad bad name. Luckily they are a minority, unfortunately they speak volumes for the majority.

Re: why Supermoto's are better
They crash amazingly well too. Worst i've ever seen was the triple clamp stem breaking in two, this was after about 4 cartwheels at 50+mph. A new stem was pressed in and it was good to go again.
I crashed mine last year, ended up with broken foot and arm, bike flipped a few times and picked it up and it started on the button and was ridden for the rest of the day (not by me though)
If you want some real entertaining racing take yourself along to the British supermoto championships this year. I guarantee you'll never want a bike more after you've seen the racing!

It was uk too and probably one of the ride outs sorted on the supermoto forums, they rent a track for the day in teeside, or cumbria only £50 usually and its open pit, ride all day long till your so knackered you fall off. (maybe thats just me?)
