how about changing it to - who's done the most mileage. FWIW theres about 40k on my ZXR - I've done about 12 of those in 3yrs. The gixer has 20k on - I've done 19 of those in less than 4 yrs. About 5500 of those are around the ring tho

In terms of numbers, the DR800 I bought a couple of months ago has 53,000 on the clocks....but that's in km, so about 30,000 miles. It's going to do somewhere in the region of 9,000 miles/14,400km a year from now on as my main commuting bike though, so if it lasts that long it will have 0km on the clock within four years.

ZXR has 22,000 on. I've done 14,000 of those in the four years I've owned it. The previous owners between them managed 8,000 in 12 years.

mine had about 38,000 when i sold it i think. Brought at around 26,000 so 12,000 in 9 11 months

I'm on a young whipper-snapper that's barely run-in at about 17,000 miles now!

My ZXR400 was on over 50,000 when I sold it - although 10k of that was after a rebore, so that might be cheating.

My old VFR750 will take some beating at over 110,000 when it was crashed and sold on. It's still being ridden daily and going strong, too!
