Hello all

Post by actionman »

Hello all !!! Thought I would introduce myself, name's Paul and will be picking my ZXR400 L4 up next Friday, hopefully after passing my DAS on Thursday. If not, it will go in my garage until I do pass. Will post some picks, when I can find my USB cable.

CB - Had my test on 19 Mar, but failed as I put my foot down on U turn :smt009 . Got a re-test on Mon 30 Mar but it's now in King's Lynn, as there were no dates available in Colchester before the new test comes in. The bike has been going through its PDI and MOT and there were a few things like new tyres, carbs cleaned and balancing and new front disks that needed to be done before they would release it. So I will be picking it up next week if all goes well.

CB - work in Colchester during the week but live in Ely, Cambs at weekends plus I now have 3 weeks holiday :smt003 . Was a bit bummed when I put me foot down as I hadn't done it since my CBT, never mind though! Hopefully will be smiling next week as I will have passed my test and picked up my bike as I just been told is now MOT'd and ready for collection :smt004

I know how you feel, it was one of my habits whilst on my DAS course, luckily my instructor battered in to me before my test. :smt003

Heh. Took me three goes, too. Cut an Audi up, and then failed to notice that a set of traffic lights had gone green. *facepalm*

In my defense, the Audi must have been doing 120 clear, it's just somewhat difficult to tell that in a little vibrating single's mirrors.

Got my test at 1308 hrs on Friday in Kings Lynn, Norfolk :excited . Never ridden there before, so the instructor is taking me up there at 0900 hrs to practice the route and doing several U turns.

Anyone ridden there before? :smt002
