Getting my knees down and wondering why whatever I do my end can still gets little tarnished patches all over it!

My thermal lining came out of my jacket just over a week ago. Welcome to Summer! :smt004

Used the ZXR400 through the winter, then sold it and bought a 2005 ZX636. Riding all winter wasn't fun :smt009

Welcome back now the suns out, but you do know that just coz the bikes have to go away for the winter doesn't mean you can't post :smt002

That'll be coolant popping out the overflow when you banked over and giving it the beans :tease

Myn does the same.

No - it's defintely salt corrosion. I'm not sure I'd like the idea of getting my knees down when there's fluid leaking out anywhere (after my ZXR750 moment anyway)!

Hey yeah i know, me has been a busy girl.. had a lot to sort out over the last few months.. unfortunately nothing to do with my bike!! I dont envy you all riding through winter.. avoid it like the plague myself.. also as some of you mention the salt on the roads isnt too good for ya bike..

Had my bike mot'd in Feb.. passed with flying colours im pleased to say.. so hopefully all sorted for some sunny summer riding! :excited

Hey everyone well i just passed my test this morning my zxr is in the garage undergoing a full rebuild every nut and bolt is out! I'm waiting for my frame to come back from powder coating so i can put it back together. just honing the bores out at the minute for new rings cam chain tensioners etc. hopefully in the next few weeks i'll be out and about. Hey, congrats on passing the test, Dazzle!

As for mine...

She runs, as of this afternoon! Jumped her from a spare car battery I had about that I've had on charge for a couple of days.

Changed the engine oil, using some Magnatec I had in a new bottle, (which was actually intended for the Vitesse, but hell with it I'll buy another one...) and adjusted the chain tension just for the day, so I could give it a blast up the road to clear the cobwebs out

For the MOT, she needs;

Chain and sprockets,
Front and rear pads,
Rear Tyre
Seat Cowl or the pillion bullocks putting back on. I think I'm gonna use it as an excuse to get a cowl finally.

Hoping to get them before next Friday, as I've got two days off, to get it sorted!

And soon after that, back on two wheels!
Vard.
