ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....................... just cut it to length
Every chain I buy comes as a standard length that needs cut................I though they were all like that

Re: mand p w****ers
interesting.....i've always thought the zxr400 had a chain of 520 x 110 links. as per the Manual, after reading this post i did a bit of searching on here and general feeling is 110 links. I also checked out the German manual which surprisingly states for an L model .....108 Links.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

Re: mand p w****ers
What sprockets are you running? I bought a 110 recently and it fitted fine.
Mind you I have an L2 and I'm on 14/47 so had to move the wheel quite far forward to fit round so would have been perfect length for 15/45.
Not being harsh but surely you could see it was to big before you punched the links?
That said, is the H2's swingarm shorter than the L? That could explain the 108. In that case, it's their error.

ahhh so H model is 108 links, L model is either 108 or 110 links depending which country.

Yeah if H's do use a 108, that's their fault. You'd think they'd swap it as a good well gesture. Keep hassling them.
But, if worse comes to worst, you can cut it down. Would be even more annoying if you were 2 links short! lol

Re: mand p w****ers
I think the problem with them is, if you give it handful the chain will stretch and it will pop right off. With a rivet chain link that wont happen. As someone said they are for bicyles really, not for 140mph bikes.
