well it passed other than adjusting the headlight which i had to pack the bottom out with washers to get it low enough. could the adjusters be broken or have i got the wrong light or something. Also its a bit noisy top end the bloke said little ends and to run it on good fully synthetic oil to make it last does this sound right or will i be waisting my time? Thanks Daz

They can be noisy anyway, even when the valves are adjusted correctly. Would have to hear it to be sure but im willing to bet its all normal.

i know alot say there noisey so i just put it down to that. i've rebuilt the engine with new cam chain, tensioner and rings etc. checked the clearances and they were fine. i've not really ridden it only about a mile or so as no tax but i'll have a bit more of a ride at the weekend and post back. if it is normal what sort of rpm should i expect the rattle to be and go away if at all? Thanks Daz

i wouldn't use fully synth anyway usually makes your clutch slip.
