I think you must be right.. Funny place to put it, I would have thought they'd keep the fuel nearer the front and low to keep centre of gravity down, guess it could be a long filler pipe.

Spose there's not much room under the front of the frame because of airbox. Better to have it low, under the seat, than up in the tank.
I'm looking at places to put mine, and the under seat area is looking pretty spacious... lol

Best place for fuel in terms of weight distribution i think is between your legs but lower. If you've ever seen under a ducati fuel tank all fuel is pooled at the back, the front bit is basically aesthetic lol.

It must be a hell of a long tube to get to a fuel tank.
The exhaust pipes are right under the seat.

No I think that is the fuel tank. The exhaust snakes around what could be part of a fuel tank. The regular 'fuel' tank is no doubt a dummy, housing just the airbox and maybe electronics.
