Hi all,
I dont currently own a bike at the moment but getting itchy feet about having another one.
Passed my test at twenty and waited the two years to ride any bike unrestricted which is when i brought my ZXR400 from D&K in Stoke on trent.
It was a 1998 model and in the gorgeous black/purple colour.
Having only had the bike three weeks i was on my way to work and came off my bike on a large roundabout (not trying get my knee down or anything) police officer said it was diesel.
Insurance company wrote the bike off and frankly it knocked my confidence big style about riding again. Been on the dvla website recently and the bike must have been repaired as it is still showing as registered and taxed.
Its now six years on and in that time ive had some very fast cars that put a smile on my face but the cars dont compare to being on your bike with you dad, mates etc on theirs and just riding.
Anyways i'll have a mooch around the forum and hopefully be posting up pictures of another ZXR400 i have brought when i muster up the courage to get back on another bike
Round two???

Re: Round two???
Best thing to do after an accident is get straight back on. I came off one evening and rode 15 miles to get home with a broken footpeg and bent front brake lever, more a case of having too really but having got straight back on i wasnt at all bothered the next day.
Hope you get through the fear and get back on matey, welcome to the forum too

Yep its just a confidense thing for me at the moment.I know i can ride a bike, otherwise i wouldnt have passed my test (thats what i keep thinking anyway)
Well i'm off to donnington on sunday for the moto gp racing.
I'm jumping on the back of my dad's bike who is going with friends and other family members who all have bikes.
First time back on a bike for me since i dropped mine so it should help my confidence abit even though i'm not riding.
Hoping the weather holds out for a great day's racing
