I do like SOAD...
I have very diverse tastes, but find I get bored of most music after 1 album apart from the more extreme stuff like death metal and industrial and punk etc...
The Bloodhound Gang have some cracking tunes!
Mainly, you'll find on my playlist:
Carcass
Pungent Stench
Entombed
Misery loves Co.
Paradise Lost
The Exploited
Alec Empire
Testament
Megadeth
S.O.D.
E.N.T.
Pro-Pain
The Offspring
Lamb Of God
The Haunted
At The Gates
Crikey I could go on all day here...

Re: what gets you rockin ?
Start with :
Queens of the Stone Age
Rob zombie (& White zombie)
Marilyn Manson,
Silver ginger 5
Primal scream
Hawkwind
Hole
Veruca Salt
Dover
David Bowie's Earthling album and later stuff after that (Heathen, Hours)
and a little bit of N.E.R.D.
and more recently, I really like Frankmuzik, but he was so much better live than on the album - and that confusion girl song on the radio is the weakest on the album. Pet Shop Boys. I like their recent stuff a lot. I can sing to that.
and I sing The killers out loud most of the time, Mr Brightside.
And the Ting Tings.
Oh and Pink. good cheese, is Pink.
Yes, my CD / MP3 collection is a complete headfuck.
I got enya on there too. Lol.

If it's broke spray it with WD40, if it's still broke spray it again and leave it over night, if it's still broke, bin it.

Re: what gets you rockin ?
Led Zep,
AC/DC,
Cake,
The Cult (in two of three incarnations, anyway, never been a mad fan of the Southern Death Cult stuff...),
The Rolling Stones,
Aerosmith,
The Beach Boys,
Cream,
Pearl Jam,
Guns 'n' Roses,
Lamb Of God,
Jason Mraz,
The Stone Roses,
Brian Setzer Orchestra,
Blue Oyster Cult,
Red Hot Chili Peppers (except not of late - wtf was Stadium Arcadium, please boys, pull it together...),
Spear Of Destiny,
Audioslave,
(and by the same token;) Rage Against The Machine,
Jane's Addiction,
Velvet Revolver,
Dream Theater,
Yes,
Boards of Canada,
The Subways...
I'll stop, but I really could go on for hours.
In general, I tend towards more classic Rock style stuff, but a few new things creep in and grab me - for example, I've been humming 'Paparazi' all evening, despite not liking Lady Gaga in the slightest. Good tune.
*Edit*
Oh yeah, and the UOGB.
Anyone who has not encountered the UOGB before now, should click this link, and enjoy.

Re: what gets you rockin ?
I'll tell you what you more diverse people should agree with me on:
The soundtracks to EVERY Grand Theft Auto game absolutely kick ass!
Because of those games I've ended up downloading tunes I'd have no business touching with a barge pole if it wasn't for hearing it whilst playing!

Re: what gets you rockin ?
Some of them are pretty good, parituclarly the suppoedly Rock orientated radio stations.
On the flip side, spinoff games like Saints' Row, while being fairly decent games also, utilising the same in-car radio idea, have the single worst lineup of tracks in the world ever. And that's being polite about it.
Love the game, but I have to set the radio to 'off' as always before I play.
