have been having a look through the build threads for inspiration - planning on doing the bike up over the winter. One of the main things I want to do is get rid of teh boxey back end.
i saw the one build with a zx9r rear end on - looked sweet, and also perfect for me as the misses comes on the back alot - and her main gripe is having no pillion handles.
so was thinking if I mod the rear end of a 9r, do i need to weld new brackets on ? i saw in a thread baz said that gixer? rear end would pretty much bolt straight on, but thats to an L not a H.
so basically I would like something like the 9r, with pillion handles / nice curve, but ideally something that would fit easily onto the H model subframe.
Or realistically am I best of looking at bonding the two seat together (front end of existing one onto 9r back end) - my concern about doing this is
a) i have no idea how to do it!
b) will it be strong enough to carry a pillion ?
Cheers

Re: Switching up the rear end !
A couple of things you might find useful is that the Bmodel 9r's didn't come with any grab rails as standard, and on the C models they bonded the rear subframe to the frame you it's not a removeable part!
Not sure if it's the same on the E and F models, but you might want to check that out!
