Yeah, £1300 all in - looks to be a laugh. I saw some last year but was too late signing up.

Going to Dynomite tomorrow to sign up. The Type R can wait...

I started racing these with Phoenix racing, I came second to Kingsley Ruddy in the 2007 Britsh junior Chiampionship, and second in the senior British Championship in 2008, and I still race one in the winter series that is run at Wilton Mill to keep my hand in for the zxr, there are usually some good riders who come along to keep in practice during the winter, Peter Hickman is a regular,Chas Davies, Dan Linfoot etc. They do standard 125cc and 140cc, and a modified 160 class which produce about 27bhp, the racing can be quite physical and when you get knocked off you can remount and continue which is handy, there are usually large grids with up to about 40 riders, the three classes are all on track at the same time, you normally get Practice and qualifying on saterday and three races on the sunday, if you are thinking of doing it the best bike to get is the Monstermoto or the stomp the stomp has more bling, but the Monster is generally quicker, DONT get a modified 160 they are very unreliable ( the best 160 engine is the TAKAGOWA which costs about £4000) the smaller standard engines are Bullit proof, the only thing I have done to mine is new rings at about a tenner since I got it, the only other thing is wear your old leathers because you will fall off.
Have Fun

They are stomp 140 bikes - everyone racing the same bike, no mechanical mods, so like superstock racing. You can change the bars, grips, footrests, aethetics of the bike.
They put 10" supermoto wheels and tyres on, sliders, uprated rear shock and a few bits like fuel overflow bottles, etc.

I liked the look of it because it's local to me,I get a brand new bike again, it's cheaper than 8 track days on my ZX6R / renting a bike.
Above all else, it looks like a laugh to me.

And I'm the first lady to enter in their championship! Yay!!

Yes, it's in my kitchen.
Gotta love that C90 exhaust on it. Hot leg time!!
It's one of those series that everyone has to have the same kit, like a superstock cup, so everyone has this exhaust. I think it's pretty cool though. Like those city-fly bikes honda did.

I can't wait!!

Just done a couple of laps round my car, and I can't stop giggling!!

The bike alone ? see here http://www.dynomite.co.uk/index.php?mai ... cts_id=120 £800

but that's for the standard bike, Dynomite have done their own adjustments to ensure everyone is racing the same kit, ie better rear shock (and my GOD is it a sexy piece of fully adjustable shock kit, I want one for all my bikes. Well, one for each of them!!) - wheels and tyres, exhaust and air filter and gearing, put on overflows, etc - so it's fair racing. :excited

you can get pitbikes cheaper, but what I have paid for here, is the pitbike and the opportunity to play with it amongst other lunatics without getting my collar felt by the fuzz. :gamer

Practice day in Feb! I can't wait.
Though I am taking it to my folks' farm this weekend if I can fit it in my civic, which I believe it will... and play up and down the hotel's drive. Private land with permission, of course. Or until someone whinges I'm harassing the horses in the field.
This is so quiet though, my lawnmower is louder. (but it does have a coke can for the exhaust...) :smt001

oh yeah, and I'm having a drag race with my friend on his CBR125, he reckons he'll beat me. No chance!! He doesn't realise...He just doesn't know...
