Here's a chance to show off your zxr400, so get them digital cameras out and show us some piccies.Rebuilding your bike or modding it then let everyone in on it.
Tiny update as money is tight (what do you expect at this time of year) anyway. Been waiting a week for some powdercoating bits to come back which came back today. Think I'll let the 2 pictures do the talking shall I? I took 2 pictures under different lighting cause it was taken under crap light and didn't know which 1 looked the most effective.
EDIT: forgot the before photo

After:

ZXR400s 4eva! I miss mine already
Sorry for the late update but I've been screwing around getting my new garage organized and lighting hooked up. I would show you guys alot more then these few images but that would be spoiling it a lil too quickly. I'll show a full pic of the bike when I get the new wheel spacers from Japan ( Cradley's had non in stock ) so that's a 6-8 week wait.
I got this funky clear tail light from M&P the other week, will be getting the clear indicator lenses to match aswell.
Hope you like it so far, cause I dribble everytime I see her
Regards
Rich

Thanks for feedback, happy to hear I'm not the only 1 that likes it The linkage bolts are infact stainless steel polished up like chrome. I did have to make sure that the bolts I bought had the same length shank (unthreaded bolt) before fitting, very cruical as the bearing collers spin on the bolts aswell as the bearings. Just thought it would be a nice little touch if someone does decide to stick thier head under the bike. i'm gonna be taking the bike to bike shows and hopefully get into a few magz MCN maybe....

RedexRobB wrote:One question, are they strong enough, Rich?
Hi,
I should think so yes, overall stainless is harder then all standard bolts anyway. It took my old man between 3-4 min to cut each bolt to the right length for me. I will report back though and tell everyone to avoid stainless bolts for that particular area if something does happen to go wrong
If all fails I'll have to replace them with the OEMs or go 1 up and get titanium.
