New Bike for me but dunno what colour to get :(

Post by MillaMeter »

Hi,

I'm looking for yet another new bike (Kwakabox of course) I'm looking for a ZX636 B1H, B2H or K1H pretty much all the same bike just named differently. Ideally I want 1 in the go faster green but I really do like the blue. Arrgggh confused :smt013

Hi,

Problem is I really do like both colours, I went to see a blue 1 in the flesh last weekend and really took a fancy to it. I dunno maybe if I saw a green 1 in the flesh too I might make my mind up there and then.

Just want other people opinions really...

I'm with Zimm but save on paint and buy from ARD and get any colour you want in the gel coat.................

Yellow is of course the fastest colour..................been thinking of having new body work for mine this year

+1 on the gel coat front - Doesnt chip as easy as paint, and when it does you cannot tell.

Only bad thing I would watch out for with ARD is the fit. Not sure what it would be like on the ZX6R but its not great on the rear for ZXR400.

They did the B1 in orange and black too didn't they?

I always thought the orange was quite striking!

It'll be gel coat for my race bike this year, i'll leave the carbon tank and tail section naked if it turns out good.

Generally I've found ARD to be a reasonable fit.......................it is sometimes a little off but then I'm only fitting it to a race bike so it's not been a problem.
I suspect that the road bike kit with holes etc for lights will be a little better fit wise because they just have to or it wont sell you road bike guys are much more fussy that us racer types.

Certainly colour and longevity wise ARD are great...............it takes a huge stone chip really well and still has colour
