wel lads first post lookin for all the info i can get on a 97 zxr400 sp model are the a good bike an is the sp model the one to go for thanks

Fully adjustable front & rear suspension
FCR carb's
Adjustable cams
Closer ratio gearbox
Single seat
Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !

Full Exhaust
Ram Air box or pods or trumpets

Should see it showing an indicated 160 no probs
Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !

160kph ?? thats not a hole lot lad is it cause of the close ratio box or what??

Top speed depends on your weight and the gearing you have it set up but 130ish shouldnt be a problem.

If you want massive straight line speed though don't by a 400!

The SP is a good model though. Tuneable with lots of goodies to start with (mori has mentioned most of them above!)

Just make sure the bike is an actual SP and not just an SP replica

Top speed has nothing to do with weight - that just changes the time it takes to get there.

Had my race bike recorded at 221kph on GPS if that helps
