Ive done the same on my leathers, slider was thin already and an afternoon of scratching saw it dissapear and wear a small hole through the velcro :smt009

See my Youtube channel below, i had an accident in the new 2010 razor textile jacket at 25mph.. the jacket wore a 3-4inch hole right through to the inner mesh in the shoulder.. i dread to think what would've happened had i been doing 60mph.. *gulp*

Textile jackets are crap. I had a spill at about 20mph in a Belstaff jacket about 20 years ago and ground my elbow right down to the bone with melted fabric in the wound. Bought leathers after that and never get on a bike without them. No matter what bull the manufacturers give you a textile jacket is not going to help you on tarmac. Fine for crossers off-road but that's it.
