newer shock on h model
what other model shocks will fit a h model, ive searched briefly on here and read bout gsxr shocks on an L but theres no mention of h, while im doing the single seat i thought id replace the shock at same time ( the boss letting me spend money on the bike at moment
) does anybody have an idea what would fit with minimal mods please

I fitted a GPz900R Ohlins rear shock no worries on my H
For L model shocks you need the unitrak linkage or fit spacers to the H one to make the bottom mount fit.

Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !

Re: newer shock on h model
I fitted a 2002 636 shock on my H drilled the bushes out (take your time so you don't melt the rubbers) to 14mm, cut the brace out of the subframe and weld a new brace in a couple of inches back. Also have to swap the 636 spring for the 400 as the 636 is wider and rubs the swingarm

Good luck.
