Well, I'm not planning on racing, so I'm no HUGELY fussed about what brake lines I have.
The better they stop the bike the better obviously But I would settle for just standard ones to be honest

Those levers look great!

Although, I think the exhaust will be a priority for now...
I need something without a hole in it hehe.

But the servicing and dyno would probably be the best place to start

I think my down pipes are okay actually..
Flicking through the service history I got with the bike, they were replaced at some point.

Might be interested in the can however... Shall have to keep you in mind when I get some more money

It will be about a month probably before I can afford to start splashing out on niceties

Braided brake lines aren't just for racers.
They give a much better feel and greater control when braking as the lines wont bulge when the pressure increases.
Everyone on here, and the vast majority of bikers will agree that the 1st thing they do when they get a bike is stick braided lines on there.
Whats the point in going faster unless you can stop quicker.....

Theres not really much point in getting it dyno'd before you get a new can/pipes as it will have to be dyno'd and setup again cos things will change

Okay.
So.
Service -> exhaust -> dyno -> braided lines.

That should keep me occupied for a while
I am slightly nervous to the cost of this service, as I am paranoid that every noise the bike makes means I bought a dud :S

tbh you could give it a service yourself. Fresh oil, fit new lines and brake fluid, fresh spark plugs.

Yeah, I would do the oil change myself.
Would get a mate to help with the plugs (I have a habbit of making a hash of it when reconnecting them...).

And I refuse to touch brakes again. I made a RIGHT hash of mine last time.
I actually made a piston come out when trying to change the pads. Don't ask how...

But I can bleed them, should be fine.

But I would like someone to do the valves, carbs, and check over the rest of the engine.
Will see what he says it will cost when I take it in to be looked at

Sounds like a plan, maybe if you play your cards right someone from here might live nearby and can give you a hand with stuff.

But then again, you might aswell try to get the carbs/clearances etc done all at the same time as the other stuff.
But it does rely on funds being available in one chunk.

Today I shall be ordering:

- 4 litres of silkolene pro all singing all g oil. £35
- A new oil filter, not sure which one though. And a wrench thing to go with it... £15
- 4 new plugs. I believe it is just the standard plugs right (CR9EIX) ? £40
- And probably a K&N Air filter (if not a standard one). £50

- Book it in to have the carbs synced, and generally looked over by the mechanic. Probably around £60 at a guess...
