when ive taken mine off all ive only ever lost a tiny little amount not even enouth to make a difference on the level window, just put it on a paddock stand,

I was thinking about doing that.
In the end I sprayed it whilst it was still on the bike, just took off fairing, masked up surrounding area and covered with newspapers. Has Come up very nicely.
