that redex worked a treat, when cold she starts on the first click of the button.
Yeah im not sure why its noisy, id defo have a look at the top end again some time, check those clearances to double check and have a good look round make sure all is well.
Glad the redex worked, you asked yesterday why im called RedexRobB, now you know why

Could do with a new battery too, yours has properly had it.

I dunno if it has as it goes, went to start her this morning in the freezing cold and she fired strait up without a problem...
I'll have the rocker cover off tomorrow and have a prod about with a magnet see if there is anything loose in there. also check the clearances again.

Well your battery would die very quickly after turning over for only a few seconds, unless the reg/rec is playing up.

no way. clutch on my 400 is better than my new CBR its smooth an clunk free. im surprised how good it is compared to me new bike considerin its so old.
