you wont need an acid etched primer for your tank, just use a high build primer over it and a good long lasting matt black will need a coat of laquer but dont put it on so heavy that it glosses, a few lights coats with some dry time in between then a good wet rub down with some 1200/1500 grade sandpaper

Hi,

I would so recommend you spray the bike in L2 colours to match that lovely SP seat!

Stripping, painting stripping painting I would say is wasting time and money no?

At the moment my bike's front end is completely white unpainted. Personally I would rather roam around on a multi coloured or unpainted bike then spend out money on a DIY cheap paint job that is only gonna be stripped and painted again that would probably only last 5 minutes. See me point?

Spray it the best colours Kawasaki made for the ZXR400 and spray the bike in the L2 theme! :smt003

Regards

Rich

That would mean i would need to get the wheels redone in another colour as they would just look silly with that scheme, thats another £120 at where i get them done before. My minds made up for now (finally) on matt blacking, it doesnt really bother me that the panels would need stripping again as by the time i can afford it ill be paying someone else to do it for me anyway.
